Myth Maker Portraits

I paint the natural world as I have known it.  The vast ocean swells, the secretive forests, the dry red lands that breathe heat into the horizon. My work began in the sea, where I found stories in waves and salt and tide, but it has always been rooted in a deeper truth, our connection to every living place.

The ocean pieces speak of abundance and loss, of the fragile beauty that ebbs under our watch. The forest and landscape works hold a different magic, the dappled light across moss, the patient watch of trees, the hush of fungi and fallen leaves. They are the quiet guardians, the breathing heartlands.

Whether it is a whale drifting under ghost-light or a child standing beneath towering gums, the intent is the same, to remind us that every wild place, wet or dry, vast or intimate, is part of the same living web. My brush moves between ocean and forest not to change course, but to follow the same river upstream to the source of what binds us to this planet.
