When I was researching this digital download business I really dived deep into the world of printing, digital print copying and also framing.  It had been my experience framing original art pieces for art shows or customers, that it could be an expensive process, and that really worried me for my customers.  I wanted to provide a service that would take my art into your home and not cost you an arm and a leg.  

As it turns out, it doesn't have to!

PRINTING

Some tips on printing.  Don't try to do it yourself unless you have a super large home printer, which most of us don't.  You can go through a local copy service. In Australia I used Officeworks printing and copying service and was very happy with ordering some simple prints sized to A3 using my 5:7 ratio files.  I then tried printing on the cloth paper and those prints were also really lovely.  I took a step further and went to an amazing high quality printing service and tested my larger format prints from A2 to AO utilising their wall art poster printing.  The quality was incredible so I took a step up again and tried the most basic of their high quality Giclee printing for a watercolour print and I've got to say, the result was worth the small amount of extra cost.  It looked like a painting. FRAMING

The smaller framers are not always expensive but custom made frames will attract a higher price.  So you have the option of printing onto a framed canvas so you get your print and can hang it directly.  (This is an inner frame that supports the canvas.) You will have to spend a few dollars and get a picture hanging wire and D Ring set from your local hardware for a few dollars.

If you print one of the ISO sizes, such as the A or B sizes. You can find amazingly cheap frames online as these are standard sizes.  So for another $30 to $40AUD you will end up with a print and frame (large format) for under $150 bucks!  Smaller frames are of course much cheaper.  I think that is pretty awesome considering the cost to order large format prints or buy them instore is much more.
