The Day Dream

This painting portrays the artist's eldest daughter, Caetlyn, as a child, engaging in telepathic communication with ocean creatures that she would catch and release. It shows the artist's imaginative vision of herself as a child, connecting with these creatures. Hessian was selected as the base material for all paintings depicting nostalgic or imaginative scenes due to its ability to soften and obscure intricate brushwork.

Brushwork. Synthetic polymer paint on hessian on birchwood canvas.  The painting has been coated in a gloss gel isolation coat then coated in a synthetic polymer varnish.  12 by 12 inches (31.5 by 31.5cm). 

You can choose to buy in full or place a 30% holding deposit until exhibition ends. Please contact the artist to make a deposit arrangement and an invoice will be created for you with the downpayment recorded.  Due to the potential the exhibition offers the artist for sales exposure The deposit is only refundable if the following circumstances are met:

*The artwork becomes damaged during the exhibition

*The buyer is experiencing severe financial hardship.
