Warabago

This child, with its grey-blue painted eyes, is a tribute to Warabago, a cherished house attendant. The artist often drew inspiration from the wonderful children she met, both in remote villages and along the shores. By portraying the child as genderless, she aimed to represent all children as diverse and multifaceted.

Synthetic polymer paint on high quality hot pressed 300gm paper attached to quality cotton canvas. The painting has been finished with a thick gel gloss over the painting and sides and synthetic polymer varnish of archival quality.  36 by 36 inches (91.5 by 91.5cm).
